Our legendary Christmas cake created by our beloved Granny Babs is filled with brandied raisins, sultanas, currants, blanched almonds and glacé cherries. Each cake weighs about 2kg's!
Grandma Babs sadly left us this year but her legacy lives on in everything we make here at Jason Bakery, especially this cake. The cake itself is 6 months matured but Grandma's recipe comes from centuries of tradition.
This isn't your average Grandma's Christmas cake, it will knock your socks off. Do not handle heavy machinery after a slice of this!
Best served with a slice of matured cheddar on top. It's a Yorkshire thing.
